Creating a beautiful room starts with getting to know you, but first I would like you to know a little about me. I am a wife, mother of two children, Madelyn age 13 and Andrew age 11, and one fur baby, Sammie Joe. I love cooking, gardening, traveling, good music, good friends and entertaining, but my true passion is decorating.
I started my obsession with decorating as a child when my Grandmother asked me to iron the tablecloths. I would happily do the chore because I knew she would then allow me as much time as I wanted to set the table with everything that my heart desired: every pretty dish, candle and flower from the garden.
When it was time to choose a college, I followed my passion and decided to stay in my home town and attend the Art Institute of Philadelphia for Interior Design. Upon finishing school, I needed to feed my love of travel and became a flight attendant. In 1999 Delta Airlines landed me in Boston, MA where I fell in love with New England and never left.
It is here in Canton, MA that I have established a family, a garden, and wonderful group of friends, all that I enjoy opening my home to. Nothing makes me happier than having the people I love fill and enjoy my home on holidays or just a random evening, so I can cook and have a few laughs. Then there’s always coffee in the morning in my favorite chair that overlooks the table that everyone gathered around the evening before. I love sharing my garden with neighbors, whether it be herbs, tomatoes or just fresh flowers for a friend. Being a “Hardy New Englander” as my husband refers to it, we need to take advantage of being outside as well. Our outdoor living space is an extension of our home whether it be for a football game on the TV in January or having kids (and adults) gather around the fireplace to roast the perfect marshmallow, we enjoy the space to every extent.
My passion for design has created a love of my home and a place I want to share with others. This is something I would like to give to you by designing a space for you that you could love and share for a lifetime.
